By downloading, installing, or using HabitLoop, you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Google Play. We do NOT store credit card details. HabitLoop is not intended for storing medical records or protected health information.

Third-Party Services

HabitLoop integrates with the following services to provide its core functionality. We only share the minimum data necessary:

• Firebase Authentication & Firestore: Used exclusively if you enable Cloud Sync to securely authenticate and store your habit data.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Used to collect anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs.
• Firebase Analytics: Used to understand general app usage patterns (only active in production builds).
• RevenueCat & Google Play Billing: Used to manage and verify your premium subscriptions.
• Google AdMob: Advertising services are only active on the free tier where ads are shown.

3. Legal Basis (EU/UK GDPR)

For EU/UK users:

5. Tracking Technologies

HabitLoop may use device identifiers, analytics technologies, and advertising identifiers where applicable. We do not rely on traditional browser cookies inside the Android application. This website may use analytics technologies to improve user experience.

6. Advertising

The free version may display ads via Google AdMob.

Ad providers may collect:

• Advertising ID
• Device data
• General (non-precise) location

We do not sell personal data.

7. Data Retention

We retain:

• Account & habit data until account deletion
• Backup data up to 90 days
• Anonymized analytics up to 24 months
• Transaction records up to 7 years

After deletion requests, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. Data Security

We use:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Secure cloud storage
• Restricted internal access
• Regular security updates

9. Children's Privacy

HabitLoop is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
